About Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo makes the cars your heart wants: the beautiful 147 and 156, the 159 and Brera, and the superb Giulia and Stelvio. Owners will tell you they're worth every moment, even the ones spent wondering what that new warning light means.
AutoECU looks after Alfa keys, steering lock and body computer faults, ECU repairs, proxi alignment and coding, from GTs and MiTos to the latest Tonale and Junior.

Alfa Romeo keys & fobs
Key with separate remote fob or early flip key
156, 166, GTV/Spider 916
Older immobiliser systems; keys can usually be added from the ECU or immobiliser data.
Remote flip key
147, GT, 159, Brera, Spider, MiTo, Giulietta
Very common; buttons and flip mechanisms wear, and fobs can often be rebuilt.
Smart key (keyless entry and start)
Giulia, Stelvio, 4C (key start)
Push-button start with an emergency blade; we program spares and all-keys-lost.
Smart key (latest generation)
Tonale, Junior
Newer secure-gateway cars need up-to-date tools, which we have.
Alfa Romeo questions
My Alfa 159 won't start and says steering lock fault, what's wrong?
The electronic steering lock on the 159, Brera and Spider is a known weak point and can stop the car starting altogether. AutoECU can diagnose it and repair or replace and code the unit, usually where the car sits.
Can you program a spare key for a Giulia or Stelvio?
Yes, spare and replacement smart keys for the Giulia and Stelvio can be programmed without a dealer visit. Get in touch with AutoECU and we'll arrange it.
Why does my Alfa have random warning lights after a battery change?
Alfas are sensitive to low voltage, and modules can log faults or lose settings when the battery goes flat. AutoECU can scan all the modules, clear what's harmless and fix anything that isn't.
