About Jeep
Jeep invented the go-anywhere 4x4 and the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee still wear that badge with pride, while the Renegade, Compass and Avenger bring the attitude to the school run. They'll happily climb a mountain, but some models have a reputation for power module and ignition gremlins that are less keen on the trip to Tesco.
AutoECU handles Jeep keys and Fobiks, WIN and TIPM faults, ECU repairs and coding, including tyre size calibration for lifted Wranglers.

Jeep keys & fobs
Transponder blade key with separate or head remote
Wrangler TJ, Grand Cherokee WJ, Cherokee KJ
Older SKIM immobiliser; keys can be added or all-keys-lost recovered.
Fobik (insert-and-twist key)
Grand Cherokee WK, Commander, Wrangler JK, Compass MK49, Patriot
Works with the WIN module; if the Fobik won't turn, it's often the WIN rather than the key.
Keyless Enter-N-Go proximity fob
Grand Cherokee WK2/WL, Cherokee KL, Wrangler JL, Gladiator
Push-button start with an emergency blade inside.
Flip key or smart key
Renegade, Compass MP, Compass J4U, Avenger
Fiat/PSA-based systems; newer models need secure gateway access, which we have.
Jeep questions
My Jeep key won't turn in the ignition, is it the key?
On Fobik models it's often the WIN (wireless ignition node) rather than the key itself. AutoECU can test both and repair or replace and program whatever's at fault.
Do I need to recalibrate my Wrangler after fitting bigger tyres?
Yes, otherwise the speedo, ABS and gear shifts can be off. AutoECU can code the new tyre size so everything reads correctly.
Can you program a Jeep key if all keys are lost?
In most cases yes, including Fobik and keyless models, without towing it to a dealer. Get in touch with AutoECU and we'll come to you.
Need something done on your Jeep?
We'll fill in the make for you. Just add your reg and what's wrong.
