About Opel
Opel is the European twin of Vauxhall: same cars, different badge, and usually the steering wheel on the other side. We see Opel imports and expat cars around Peterborough, plus a few models that never wore a Vauxhall badge, all with the same clever kit and the same occasional immobiliser grumpiness.

Is an Opel Corsa the same as a Vauxhall Corsa?
Pretty much, the cars share platforms, engines and electronics, with Opel badging and usually left-hand drive. Parts and keys are generally the same, though some country-specific settings differ. AutoECU can advise on anything Opel or Vauxhall.
Can you change settings on my imported Opel for UK roads?
Some settings such as headlight behaviour, display units and languages can often be coded, depending on the model and module. Physical items like left-hand-drive headlamps may still need changing. Ask AutoECU and we'll check your car.
